MILAN supports any type of media, whilst its easy-to-use architecture provides enhanced time-alignment features. This future-proof deterministic network boasts a certification of compliance with standards and interoperability specifications through the Avnu Alliance, ensuring excellent interoperability between MILAN devices. Each Linear 7 speaker has been built to utilise MILAN to provide this seamless interoperability, ensuring that they meet the same requirements as other MILAN devices for media streams, formats, clocking, and redundancy. This means everything will work together exactly as it should. And with complete support for future implementations, MILAN is guaranteed for long-term viability as part of the IEEE open standards.

Innovative DSP Technology

Take control of your sound. The Linear 7 Series gives you class-leading processing options with an intuitive workflow. Handy presets provide you with the ability to tune your loudspeakers for use as standalone speakers, monitors, or to be combined with subwoofers. There are also presets for configuring a cardioid bass setup with Linear 7 subwoofers (1:1 and 2:1 configurations).Controlling the Linear 7’s DSP is a breeze. You can remotely-adjust every single one of your mid/high units, subwoofers, and stage monitors from a central area. Using a Mac or Windows PC, you can fine-tune the volume, EQ, limiting, delay, and polarity settings of each and every Linear 7 cabinet that is connected to your network.Even non-network-compatible cabinets can be controlled with Linear 7’s powerful DSP. This is thanks to the unique DSP OUT XLR connector on each Linear 7 cabinet. The connector enables you to integrate an additional powered speaker into your network, and control all of its parameters remotely, providing excellent value retention and performance for a wide variety of speakers. Parameters that can be controlled include a fully-parametric ten-band EQ, high-pass filter, low-pass filter, delay, polarity, and limiting functions.

Excessive bass levels can be quite the problem on and behind the stage. The more serious issue, though, is that promoters are increasingly making demands to limit the sound distribution range. And there is no alternative to cardioid technology when it comes to meeting specifications for low-range frequencies. With its hardware appointments and fi lter sets, the 18″ LINEAR 7 subwoofer provides a fast, easy way to configure effective cardioid setups.Details?
