The EVO-X Series strikes the perfect balance between affordability and performance. ?Positioned in-between the Impact Series and the Delta Series of passive loudspeakers, EVO-X is a new multipurpose lineup of 8 models featuring many useful and practical design elements.
All models benefit from a hardwearing Rhino Rock paint finish and are visually enhanced with the iconic Wharfedale Pro ?boomerang? logo being engraved onto their surface. ?All models also feature practical 4-way handles to make transportation simple and pain-free.
Full range models feature a unique 3dB HF boost switch allowing for quick, on-stage tweaks to be made to the sound as the crowd grows while the 3 subwoofer options all have high pass filter outputs, reducing onstage cabling and peripherals.
Robust crossover designs, elliptical waveguides and large voice coils ensure that the sound quality is as beautiful as the cosmetic design.

Hi pass output connector
All subwoofers in the EVO-X series feature a hi pass filter output.
This means that its simple to create a large EVO-X system without having to use external crossovers or DSP?s.
Simply connect your power amp to the EVO-X subwoofer and then take the hi pass output connector out to another full range EVO-X model.
Tidy cabling and great sound! Simple!

The surface of EVO-X is covered in our enhanced Rhino rock paint.
This is durable and hardwearing and will protect the EVO-X throughout its life.
The surface of EVO-X is also engraved with the iconic Wharfedale Pro boomerang logo. A logo which demonstrates sonic and hardware quality.
Tough MDF Construction
The cabinet is constructed of MDF.
This solid, but still lightweight, material gives EVO-X rigidity and reduces any mechanical distortion which a lesser material may introduce.
The MDF material also contributes to the overall tone of EVO-X. It delivers a warmth and roundness to the sound, making EVO-X a pleasure to listen to, even at higher volumes.

The fresh cosmetic design however is not the only improvement the engineering team have made in creating the Delta X series.
Internally Delta X models have a new crossover design and construction. ?Using new component positioning and bracing, the sensitive crossover electronics have been re-engineered to improve long term performance and reliability ? even at the highest of volumes.
With rear panel switching, Delta X218 has Discrete and Parallel modes of operation. ?This allows to address each LF driver individually, or as a pair. This routing flexibility allows for Delta X systems to be refined using multiple amplifiers and external crossovers.
Custom Wharfedale Pro transducers have been selected. High output, low physical distortion cast frame woofers deliver unparalleled low frequency response. With the exception of the Delta X10, 2? titanium compression drivers are coupled to 90?x45? elliptical waveguides for impressive output level and smooth HF dispersion.

18mm Russian Birch Plywood Construction
Delta X218B is made of premium Russian birch plywood.It is even more dense than MDF and creates an extremely strong and durable cabinet. Although not recommended, birch plywood is more tolerant in damp conditions.During construction, it is harder to cut but holds screws better than particle board or MDF. This makes it ideal for flagship professional audio loudspeakers which are to be used in extreme and critical environments.
